Email to Job Notes
Every job has its own email address — forward or CC something to it, and it lands as a note automatically. No copying, no pasting, no retyping.
Every job in Trackr has its own unique email address, sitting right on the job’s Overview tab with a one-click copy button. Forward an email to it — or just CC it from the start — and the message becomes a note on that job automatically, with the sender and subject recorded alongside it.
No more copy-pasting email threads into notes
Anyone who’s fielded a job by email knows the routine: read the message, switch to Trackr, copy the relevant bit, paste it into a note, switch back. This removes that step entirely. Forward it, done.
Just the new message, not the whole thread
Trackr strips out the quoted reply history automatically, so the note only captures what was actually written in that email — not the last five replies stacked underneath it. Attach a photo to the email and it’s added as a photo on the job; attach anything else — a PDF, a scanned form — and it’s filed as a job document instead.
Agent-visible, never client-facing
Notes added this way follow the same visibility rules as everything else in Trackr — they land as agent-visible only, never shown to the client, so forwarding an internal email chain to a job doesn’t risk exposing anything it shouldn’t.
Built so the address can’t be guessed
Each job’s email address is protected by a random, unique token — not just the job’s own reference number — so addresses can’t be worked out by guessing at sequential IDs.
